Voice recordings
The app records only when you choose to record. Practice recordings stay on your device and are deleted when you delete them or leave the lesson. We do not upload them or use them to train models.
Progress and accounts
You can practice without an account. Your language choices and completed lessons are saved on your device. If you connect your web account, completed lesson identifiers are saved with your account identifier so your progress can sync. We also store your account identifier and the date we first observe a successful sign-in to measure account adoption, excluding owner and reviewer activity. The app stores a limited connection token in your device’s secure storage. You can disconnect in the app or revoke all mobile connections on the connection page.
When Saylumo account sign-up is enabled, Clerk handles authentication, including your email address and any Google or Apple sign-in you choose. Saylumo stores your account identifier, the name and language preferences you choose, your daily practice goal, and learning progress. Practice recordings are not sent to Clerk.
Feedback
Phrase reports and voluntary lesson reviews are sent to Saylumo and stored for the owner to review. Please omit personal information. A review email is stored only if you consent to contact. Abuse prevention uses a daily network identifier.
Learning activity
On the website, we record site visits, sign-up form opens, lesson starts, completions and activity dates to understand unit progress and improve learning. A random first-party cookie identifies guest practice for up to 90 days; when you sign in, that guest activity is linked to your account and the guest cookie is cleared. We do not collect voice recordings, IP addresses or device fingerprints for this learning analysis. The owner-only dashboard shows aggregate progress and recent learner activity; signed-in learners may appear by their chosen profile name. These records can be included in a verified deletion request. Counts describe practice activity, not language proficiency.
When registration tracking is connected, we retain the account identifier and registration date verified by Clerk. These registration records do not include names or email addresses.
Website analytics
The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for traffic and performance statistics. Hosting providers also process network requests needed to serve lessons. The native app does not include advertising or behavioral tracking SDKs.
Control and contact
To request deletion of account records, progress or submitted feedback, email sridhar.rajarao@gmail.com, identify the request, and provide a contact address only if you want a reply. Account requests require verification before deletion. Uninstalling removes local app data according to your operating system; server-saved data requires a deletion request.
